So I was talking to this guy and he said that somewhere south of the border (United States) there is a guy who has a Hutchinson bottling machine mounted to a flatbed truck and he had got his own new Hutchinson bottles made along with the spring stoppers that hold up to modern food standard. and this guy apparently goes around to events and sells his own soda out of his "modern" Hutchinson bottles.

does anyone know who this guy is or have any pictures of the new bottles he got made? or if he has a website?

Interesting. I thought for sure this was going to be about machine made hutches. My state (Wisconsin) has none but there are some states out there that do. Your thread is interesting, though. Hope somebody knows who it is.

That sounds cool, I hope someone has more information!

Does anyone remember the name of the ABM hutches from Philadelphia? They were discussed a while back.

from sha.org here is an image of a hutch made in 1929 by owens illinois for a bottler in Puerto Rico. Supposedly the latest hutch created.

Ah, I remember now, it was an Esposito ABM hutch from philly. I think a digger/collector said they were from 1913-1915 but I'm really not sure. I don't know how to search the forum but there is a thread from around 2 years ago that discussed them. Hopefully someone can dredge it up.
