here are some others...a pepsi bottle and two Rummy bottles both bottles by pioneer bottling works from davenport washington. The one on the left has a little square glass tab protruding from the bottom front..I was wondering what that is for.
This is not a pop bottle but a welches grape juice bottle that i found with the pop ones. I found ather bottles of simular shape one says "purple" the other says"Armour's". any idea of what those two are?
yall are having some nice digs!! those rummy bottles are interesting! also the crush is nice !! also the clicquot, that welchs seems to be older 1900 where did you find that?? mixed in ? also lets see the purple and and armor bottle pix
I found all of these bottles in the same mound...I just found out that when my girl friends parents bought more land to farm they destroted the original farmsted that occupied the land. her dad said the lady who lived there before collected glass, so when she sold, he cleaned out all her stuff and took it to trash pile. That explaines why there is oil drums filled with broken depression glass i guess. I also found this odd chuck of glass whiel digging...It was an aqua blue box and measured about 18"x12" and said water main on it. all glass and really heavy...any idea what this was?
royal purple is grape juice, i found this on the internet about 1916, nice bottle!! the two green or brown bottles are old wine or water bottles 1890s???
