Here is an article from June 21, 1900 talking about him having typhoid fever...at the top of the pages they have a content search...for the American Bee Journal - a weekly publication - and he always had an ad in each one - He ran the Woodcliff Apiary, near Jenkintown...one of the biggest and best in area...I now know more about bee's than I ever thought I would...interesting though...there are a lot of advertisements, etc...for various things...there was an article from a Dr McClen regarding Eucalyptus honey (and the benefits of it)...wanted to help plant eucalyptus in the Chicago area to keep people healthier...

yeah I came across the Bee Journal a while back. There was a lot about A Root.He was bee keeper suppler out in Ohio.Selser was on vine st in Philly at one pont, he got his goods from Root by rail.
