Mystery -50

Round, clear, the only embossing on it is -50 looks to be possibly a medecine bottle? But I am not sure, any ideas are welcome.

P.S. I am new to bottle collecting.

It's probably a measurement of some sort. It looks like it has embossing on the base?

Indeed there is, I didn't notice that on the bottom till you mentioned it, it says...
20 then a circle with a sideways diamond, then 2 & below that is 9203-A
I'll take a photo real quick.

Probably 50 cc ... this type of bottle held injectibile (sp?) liquids, vaccines, innoculations and such.. the metal top had a rubber gasket in the center through which a syringe needle could penetrate to extract some of the contents..

The circle and diamond with the I in it is that Illinois glass company again but after they formed the Owens-Illinois Glass Co.
