I have some fantastic potential digs in mind...two schools chartered in the late 1700s....and a seminary (huge!) built in the early 1800s...a foundation near my home here that was an inn on a well traveled road...There are hundreds of pre-1850 homes here to dig around. Just gotta ask..I intend to try the school privy digs this summer if I am allowed....one was a "normal school"...a place that taught adults to be teachers...wonder if there are any inks in the pit?
(I was told where it always was, and there is an area full of depressions there!)
I dug a dump last summer that had an "electric bitters", 2 Indian sagwa bottles (with indian chief embossed), and a tippacanoe bitters...all busted by skidder tires.[][:(]
