need a little ebay help

I'm listing a demijohn & had to put in some numbers for calculated shipping. Could some of the forum members from other parts of the country let me know how much the shipping charges are showing? It is an oversized 24" box and weighs almost 8 pounds, just wondering if it is showing outrageous charges.

Hi Bill, it's showing $15.55 to NJ which is right on with the USPS site and seems very reasonable to me. You save a little money if you print your label right from Ebay or the USPS site. I'd be willing/expecting to pay at least $20 so maybe you might want to add a couple of bucks for 'handling' costs to offset the Ebay fees... Great bottle, good luck with it

ouch, I guess that is why I have never dealt much with demijohns, they are just too big to haul to shows, and cost a lot to ship, but I do like them, they are so impressive. Thanks for your help....Bill

Only $11.10 to me - but I'm not far from Michigan. (I'm in the Milwaukee area).
