I have some examples of rare bottles with lip chips or cracks, however none of them have been repaired or altered. I don't think I'd knowingly purchase an altered or repaired bottle. In fact, when I weeded my collection out via ebay last year I also sold the three bottles I had pro-cleaned few years ago. Just throwing my opinion out there...
