I was digging in a 1920-1950 dump for milk bottles, and got these 2 round-bottomed teal aqua bottles in different sizes. There is a mold seam to the neck and has a few air bubbles. I know it's not too old but was wondering what was inside. They are hard to lay down, w/o rolling. Also found was a cool Tiffany & Co. silver spoon from 1905 and a crude ceramic glazed cup. Thanks for any info.

Those were chianti bottles, or some other Italian or Spanish wine.. they came wrapped in a straw basket... age sounds about right..

I have also found a couple of these neat looking wine bottles from the same era dump. I figured they contained Red wine vinegar for cooking.[8|]
