I am digging behind my girl's house right now what I think might be a privy but not sure, had a brick linning but doesnt go into the ground, hard to explain but ill post pics in a few days. I dug 4 feet something today striaght down and nothing just clay. How deep do you usally dig befor you find signs of fill or that it was a privy. It doesnt have a brick linning and i dont think it was wood. It just had that brick square wall and the center was covered in brick as well. It will be easyer to picture when i post the pics. thanks
