This thing is as crude as you can get. The bottle sits evenly, but it it wasnt for the high kick up in the corners of the base the bottle would have teetered on quite possibly the remains of the pontil rod (Kidding but you will see why) when it was sheared off this thing. The color of the glass is dark olive green, with bubbles the size of Volkswagen beetles. It does not have the typical Dutch lip treatment seen on the bottles that are attributed to that country's glass works. The bottle is 10 and a half inches tall 3 and a half inches wide at the shoulders and 3 inches wide at the base. The glass is littered with bubbles. The pontil mark is about as large and dangerous looking as one of them can get. It looks like the gaffer broke part of the steel rod off and just left it on the bottle. The pontil or belly button [8D] at its highest point is a half inch in height off the base. Again if it weren't for the concave corners with their slight arch and the fact the base has a high kick up also the bottle would have never rested on any surface evenly. The glass on the rim of the pontil is razor sharp and I was able to cut a piece of paper in half with it.
