Hi Steve, That is a neat case gin. My daughter brought over a box of about nine of mine, from my study a few years ago. I have to make a study of them again. Yours is what I refer to as a pig snout finish. It was blown in a four sided dip mold. and the shoulders and neck were free formed. After Gin became real popular the governments of the source countries got concerned about the non taxed capacity and made the industry go to four part molds that controlled the structure of the shoulders and necks.
I am thinking about selling some of my early studied bottles - though it runs against my grain of satisfaction of owning them.
But at 84 there isn't a lot of time left - if we let our kids dictate our fate. RED Matthews
