Hi everyone; I am new to this forum. I have been saveing bottles for years. Most of what I have found was incidental to my hobby of metal detecting. I have receintly moved to Tallahassee Fl and hope to do some digging around here. I will attempt to post a photo of one of my favorate finds, if anyone knows anything about it please post. This bottle is about 8' tall and is embossed;ONE PINT, AMMONIA, FOR WASHING, MANUFACTURED BY THE SAN FRANCISCO GASLIGHT CO.KEEP THIS BOTTLE CORKED AND IN A COOL PLACE,PRICE 25 CENTS, USE A TABLESPOONFUL TO A GALLON OF WATER. I like it because of the large amount of embossing. I found it on the centeral cost of Calif.

Hi finderskeepers and welcome to the Forum!

That's a nice early example that you have. It looks to me like it has the applied lip on it.

Nice find! Now let us know how you do in Florida.
