I just found some old bottles. I was wondering if the tumbler was worth the investment. Here are some pics of what I found. I would like to start looking for more bottles to add to my collection. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Duke,
NICE collection! Quite a few of those apothecary bottles appear to be acid-etched,or have you high-lighted the embossing? There are tricks to tumbling acid-etched bottles, likewise ground-glass stoppers but looking at the condition of yours I don't really think you need worry with tumbling.I especially like the browns front right!

Oh yes,welcome to the forum!

Hey Kat
Thanks for looking
Most of my bolltes look like they have a three piece mold.
would that mean there before 1900 or after.
Some say "phila" pat mar. 25 1879 Whitall-Tatum co New York U.S.A.

Howdy Duke,
Three piece molds were used mainly from 1840-1870. nice bottles.
Apothecary bottles are highly sought after.
