I didn't drink until I was tall enough to see across the bar

what age was that? 15? 16?

Ever heard of Simonds

cant say that i have...but thats the right time frame for ACLs.

i think i need to specialize i cant say what i collect...all i can say is everything..[:D] i just cant get "out" of everything else and pick just one thing...i try to stay in crown soda's but that spilled into blobs and meds and everything else[:D]

Yeah about thirteen.... times were different back then...

I believe these are crown tops. If I can get this photo thingy to work I will send you pictures. If they are something you want, I will send them to you. [:)]

This isn't exactly post 1950, but it is certainly an example of a collectable machine blown bottle. It is a 5 1/2 tall owl drug co. medicine bottle but with a G where the O belongs. I hope I'm not intruding with this input. Thanks Dt

My answer is to each his own. I have no interest in any machine made bottles, regardless of their supposed value, but thousands of folks think otherwise and I like that. What would the hobby be if we all collected the same thing? Not much, IMO.

I make a point of never running another person's bottles down , no matter how insignificant they may be to me. After all, they are VERY important to the one collecting them, and they are what count. If someone likes NDNRs, than so be it.

I find my own treasures or at least have some part in the discovery. That is the value of the thing.
