One in center is suspect, the two on the sides I know are suncolored. Is it Nuked or would it have to be darker,
It is pattern glasss as the others are, but don't know if it a repo.
Thanks Dave

David,

I can say with absolute certainty, there is no way of telling.I have had bottles irradiated and have many that just hint of a purple color while most are a very dark unnatural color. It is proportionate to the amount of manganese in the glass and nothing else.Almost all the really dark purples have been irradiated, but I have seen sun colored glass as dark as the piece you show. However it is unlikely pattern glass would have been exposed to many years of direct sunlight like an insulator or a bottle laying exposed on a surface dump.I would guess nuked,if you like it,it doesn't matter.Another common myth is that a nuked peice will turn back to clear, the ugly brown ones will but purples will never fade or change back.Hope this helps,Doug
