Odd piece of bottle

[VA is for Diggers]

Dug this yesterday; a broken cone shaped piece of thick glass. The inside tapers off . Any ideas? Also found close by is the large brass hinge looking piece, which also puzzles me.

The large Brass Metal thing looks like a piece of a wind vain for on top of a house......As for the shard..?.....Are there any markings?

Is the glass aqua? Pretty strange.If not a bottle possible a large lamp font? or Medical beaker?!...Weird...My first guess on the metal thing was a weathervane too.But after looking at it for a while i dont know??..Maybe it hung off a gate with a lantern hanging from the small hole.With the finial acorn nob in the middle upward.?
