??? Old Bottle ???

Please excuse my ignorance but I know nothing about Antiques. I was thinking it loooked like an old medicine bottle??? but as I said, I wouldnt know hehehe. Found under a dug out tree in Christchurch New Zealand and Im curiuos as to how old it could be??? Any help is appreciated thankyou

Pocket whiskey flask. The bowed shape is to fit the body a little more comfortably in the pocket. Machine made, so it should date between 1903 and 1918.
