I'm not sure what this held. It is a crude and beautiful green color. Crude lip and neck.

Any ideas as to what it held?

Those are commonly called "capers" bottles. I'm guessing they must have contained capers. [:)]

Yeap Capers. They are used to make rich sauces so rich people can get the gout and such.[sm=lol.gif]

Hey, I think I recognize that thumb.[8D] This capers bottle is an 1880s style. Not worth much but high on the cool meter.
