This bottle came out of a ca. 1870-1900 privy in Philadelphia. I have no idea what it is. At first glance it looks like an otter but could it be a bad rendition of a cat or mouse (maybe mouse/rat poison?)??? It has a tooled finish and stands only about 2.75 inches tall. The base is missing (unfortunately), but looks to be about full height because part of the heel is present. It does read "R & T" on the plain part of the bottle just below the paws of the animal. Does anyone know what this bottle held??? Thanks!
