hey joe nice pix! dang bottle diggers weve got a lot of diggers here in knoxville as of late also, i wouldnt dare walking into weeds like that down here...........love yer posts

Next we went a piece up the road to another farm with an ancient cellarhole, but it was WAY overgrown with possible bear sign, so we decided to go to the site of a very early glassworks....I was told of it by a local historian, and it supposedly is only mentioned on a few documents, but if you find it (I had a he**uva time the first time I found it. It's literally in the middle of nowhere.) The road was "paved" with cullet and glass!...I'd heard this and was skeptical, but today, Fred and I walked no more than 50 feet from the truck on this nodesript trace road in the woods and scratched.
