P.S. Even though the swirl bottle was introduced in 1958, the newspaper archives I have been looking at continued to promote it as "new" as late as 1962. There is no mention of it as being new in the 1963 ads.

Hmmm ... Maybe I should read through the older threads and possibly find an explanation for the blueprint I thought I bought but can't find. I might also find an explanation as to why all three of the following Pepsi Cola products are diamond-cut bottles. The Patio and Teem I am familiar with, but how do we explain the Pepsi example?

Correction / Clarification / Apology Even though I haven't found the blueprint yet, I just realized the one I purchased on eBay wasn't the one I posted a picture of earlier but rather was the one pictured here. The incorrect picture was in my photo files and I accidently mistook it for the one I purchased. This link is to a website that list past eBay purchases and the blueprint shown is an actual record of the one I bought in August of 2013. Click on the image and follow the > arrow for more pics. Sorry about the mix-up. Getting old and forgetful sucks! http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedia/1957-pepsi-cola-8oz-bottle-glenshaw-469269509 However, this still doesn't explain the Pepsi diamond-cut bottle, which I will try and redeem myself with by seeing what I can find out about it. I definitely have this blueprint - I just don't know where it is! [8|]

Reminder/Clues ... Based on the accumulation of information from the three threads, all of the reverse-swirl bottles are marked on the base with ... 1. A in-a-circle (Armstrong Glass Company)2. S 68 (Most likely for 1968)3. Double-digit numbers such as 14, 16, 19, which are most likely mold numbers And they all have ... 1. Nine Red dots on the neck

P.S. If the 14,16,19 are in fact mold numbers, then it tells us there was more than one mold made and that it was probably intentional and not accidental. ???

My possible mold # is 12

Which leads me to suspect there exist mold? numbers? ranging between 1 and (at least) 19
