We dug a flask exactly like that one in Southern Michigan, same form, lip, color, and even shape of iron pontil. The consensus of those we showed it to was that it was American because of the iron pontil. I know that doesn't make it 100% American, but like Jeff says, we sure lean that way. A very sweet bottle indeed. BillI've always leaned towards American because of glass texture and seeing this one with an iron pontil makes me think it even more likely to have been blown on these shores.
