i really like this little guy its bim the neck leans a little bit what do you all think on age 1890ish? i am sure it came from someone in my family this house was bulit by my family and has been with us for a little over 100 years
Nice to get out huh? Yeah I would put that Warrented Flask in the 1890's. Nice family find. Sometimes those are the best cause you know someone was sippin on it that was a relative.

Those are little presents left by the masons, carpenters, plumbers, etc. who worked on that house or built it.
When I worked construction we always left little time capsules in the walls, or ceilings or wherever a future construction worker or treasure hunter could find something. I believe it is human nature to do that. So it has been happening all along. Old cisterns are a great place to look as well.
They are on poles to use as "insulators" for the wire in early telegraph and telephone lines. They usually ran along RR tracks and had up to six lines , maybe more on them. They are glass and kept the wire from grounding out on the wood. In a nut shell. As cap say, the only stupic question is one not asked.
