any one know anything about polo wood stoves? found these three peices of one. The door peice says Polo on it.

Hey Doors, There is no historical documentation or accounts of who invented the cast iron stove or when. The POLO was a lesser brand name of stoves both heating and cooking. You wont see many. I have seen a few but the bottom is usually burned out and the legs will no longer stay in place. They seem to be prevalent in the north as the ones I have seen are brought down from there leading me to believe the ma be an older type of stove.

You see more Standards,Yales and Wiess models in the south.
