I have a crude, scant-size pint flask that I have always wondered about. It has a slightly crooked neck and a nicely tooled lip. It's loaded with seeds and little potstones. The surface has an overall weird, uneven texture. There is a hemispherical indent in the base that has a rough texture, but no iron residue. I have other IP bottles with no residue, but this mark just seems too uniform. there are also two little embossed dots on the shoulder that mirror image on both sides. I have always believed them to be air vents in the mold. Any guesses on this one?
