Any thoughts on the age or origin of this bottle? It is pontiled and measures about 6 3/4" tall. Although it has a couple pieces of fire brick in the glass and scratches on the bottom, it almost looks too clean and not crude enough to be very old? The seal appears to depict a crest of some sort with a knight's head and shield. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

I would think it's a modern one, a souvenir from a place like Colonial Williamsburg..

Wow, yes it is almost identical to the Jamestown item, thanks Matt!

I figured it was new when I bought it for a few bucks but I wanted to make sure I wasn't sitting on something valuable. Will be good to keep around to remind me what new glass looks like.

Thanks again.

The early Jamestown repros made on site were actually pretty neat. It seems like lately they have contracted them out (china?).
