A while back I found a dump with a porcelain sign stash.Though you all might like to see some of them. It seems like a gas stationed was demolished and the signs were buried along with the debris.

Those are cool! I wish I could get into something like that, but in Florida they rust to pieces very quickly.

Yeah, they were roached, but I was surprised by the amount of interest in them among sign collectors. They are not my thing, I'll stick to bottles - but it's all in the eye of the beholder. The license plate was made by a company in PA.I'll upload a photo of the stamp later.

with so little original stuff out there people scoff them up. I was selling completely rusted license plates from the 1940 for a dollar apiece and they were gone in two merits.

Always wanted to find a porcelain sign, closest I've managed to find so far has been a Pepsi push-bar sadly broken in half (but otherwise in really nice condition). Some of those are great, even in that condition. Is that a license plate? I was thinking it was an identification sign off something. It does look like a very early license plate but if it is it's got to be at least a hundred years old, much older than the other signs there.
