Hey everyone -
This seems to be a pretty common lid, but we don't dig many of them. With this being said, only less than a week before we unearthed this one, I handed up one (lid only) from a hole on another dig to my digging buddy to set aside. Well, it was lost somehow filling in the hole, around dark. I'm not sure what was on the first one. Luckily, I ended up with this potlid after the pick on our last dig and the large marble also. The marble is a so called 'bennington' and is a whopping 1 1/2" in diameter and ding free. Both aren't considered rare, but truly fun to find and something that you don't dig everyday.
