My Digging buddy took the day of to rake leaves or mow the lawn or watch football. not sure what he was doing. SO, I got out by myself to our usual spot. Probed a spot with white Ash, dug about 3 feet & seemed to be a dud so moved on. Then nearby I felt a real good spot, at about 4 feet down with probe all I felt was crunchy glass. SO, I dug in. at only a foot or 2 down got a common Pritcherts Castoria Med bottle. Then started getting lots of broken shards ect. LEON.

Then I hit a nice light amber quart beer blob. But unfortunately broken. a 1880's P. Kling from Detroit. This would of been a good bottle if not broke. LEON.

Then I find another Quart amber blob top. Seeing the bottom first I see the bottom is broke. bummer. But, As I slowly excavate around it like a Archeologist digging out a Dinosour bone I carefully release it from it's dirty surroundings for it's first time in 130 years. LEON.

I found one other Koch, A differemt variation. For some reason I did not get a pic of it & left behind because it was broken. I got a whole condiment bottle & lots of broken shards. Thats about it, not really a worthwhile privy or post but figured I'd post it anyways to show not all privy's are winners & I'm still getting out trying to make the big find. LEON.

Good hunt! , lot's of local history there. That's our usual privy dig too. I noticed, there is a market for boxes of shards to art or history buffs.

Went back to hole #12 today to fill it in. And got a pic of that other Koch variation before I tossed it in hole with rest of the shards. LEON.
