Hi! New here :) looking for some information on my Putnam Lightning Jar. I read the number on the bottom is either the maker number or the mold number and doesn't add to the value, mine is a #1 though and has lots of waves and bubbles. I love it just trying to research more about it and a value. I have lots of Putnam jars but this one is neat.

Your best bet would be to get a copy of the Red Book of Fruit Jars #11 to determine the info and value you're looking for.

Your jar is either 1502 or 1503 in the Redbook, depending on whether it is a ground or smooth lip. It appears to be a pint? Redbook 10 value $10-$15. I am a little curious as to why you think a mold #1 would make it more special? -Tammy
