It is sand pontiled...any idea on value?

It was dug in 1987 in Bloomington and came out of a pontiled pit. The guy who owns it wants to sell it so I said I will put the word out.

Keep digging folks!

Hello Anthony,

Great looking bottle and definitely American but from a quick first view looked like an English bottle from around 1790 especially with that lip.

That`a a great early bottle, but how do you know it`s Connecticut and not another Hartford in another state? I`m only a couple towns away from Hartford, CT and in all my years of collecting I have never seen or heard of this bottle. I did a quick check on the internet and didn`t come upwith anything on this. If it is CT, then it`s quite a rare piece, and it does look like it could be an early Willington glass works piece, or even Glastenbury or Coventry glass, if it is from CT. No matter where it`s from, it`s a great bottle!
