Hello Everyone !
All of you have been so helpful in the past I'm hoping you can help me again.
I purchased this box years ago in a barn sale to go with my collection of medicine bottles. It has the lettering on both sides and held 1 dozen bottles.
I've pretty much sold the collection over the years but I've held onto this box.

Are these collectible and worth putting up on eBay ?
Approx. age and possible value ?

patent medicine boxes are definately collectible and usually sell ok. It probably dates from the 1890-1900 period.

I dug these 3 versions, they must have done very well and were in business for a while with this product because I find them often, and these are interesting examples of the different mold styles they had going:

Who knows, maybe one of these came from that box?
Enjoy!

Considering the alcohol and chloroform I'm sure they quieted the worst coughs.
