This may have been asked before- has anyone figured out what the optimum distance is between rollers when tumbling with a 4" pvc canister? With what size rollers? Thanks!

I guess it depends on whether or not you are using multiple rollers. Since the OD of schedule 40 pvc is 4-1/2" I'd think you would want the spread to be near that dimension, but alot depends on the diameter of the rollers and if you use multiple rollers as I mentioned. I am looking into buyilding one as we speak...

If using mulitiple rollers you want them far apart so you can spin two canisters at the same time without them rubbing against one another from what I see...

The rule of thumb is 1" down from the tube size...

Thanks, I have never heard the 1" rule. I'll see how close I am to that now.
