Thanks again, Bob! It makes me think Nocafeen was owed by a larger company like you said and had other companies bottle their soda. I also found the photo of the bottling plant. It's from around 1938/1939 and was located at 66 Charles Street, now part of Franklin Street. There's also a Min-R-Ize sign above the door, another Springfield brand.

P.S.

Even though this 1938 patent isn't for the bottle in question, it indicates that a General Beverage Corp. in Detroit, Michigan was definitely involved with bottles. However, I'm not sure this is the same company as the one I have been referring to. ???

Just found these images after a quick Google search. It appears that General Beverages in Detroit was indeed a bottling company. One is a Spiffy and the other is a Virginia Dare. I did notice that these bottles read Co. instead of Corp.

No matter how I slice it all roads seem to lead to ...

General Beverage Corp.

Next Question ...

Did the General Beverage Corp. located in Springfield, Massachusetts actually bottle MIN-R-IZE, X-TRA, and NOCAFEEN or was it just some type distributing warehouse?
