Thanks guys. All in a day's work. These 90 to 100 degree days are killing me down here along with these West Nile mosquitos. I'll tell you, it feels like the dog days of summer and has for the past month or so. I really do wish I lived up north or northeast where it is cooler and older. Good to see you out digging capsoda. Was that you that won that Beatrice, Neb. slugplate Coke bottle? I was going to bid, but then I saw capsoda had the only bid and figured you probably like coke's more than I do. Great digging stories Dirtflicker. You've kinda motivated me to keep rippin. Thanks madman, that emerald green druggist is a feat I have yet to accomplish. Someday, someday. Good luck to all fellow digger's and happy early Memorial Day!!! Robert
Yeah robert, That was me and that beatrice bottle is a goodun. There kinda hard to find. I don't have any Texas SS Cokes yet so let me know if you find any you want to sell.
What do you Texans do with your Coke bottles anyway? They are pretty scarce.
I've got a pretty rare one listed that ends Tuesday night. It is a ss Waxahachie, Texas slugplate with the Coca Cola script. Check it out if you get a chance.
Thanks Figgins. I try to go every chance I get. Went to a new spot today for a couple hours. Pulled out 2 hobbleskirts, 1915 DALLAS, 1915 WAXAHACHIE, teal ss DALLAS COKE, base embossed C.C. DALLAS, and a KEEN soda today. Not too bad for a couple hours. Robert
That was a GREAT haul of sodas!
I found a 1915 Palatka,Fla. Coke a few days ago.It was right on the top behind a boarded up house at the first lot we checked.
Turned out to be the only decent find of the day!
