Dug this out of a 1880-1910 trash pit and the little bottle is covered with grape leaves and vines and was wondering if anyone has any info on it,and I was really amazed it was intact.. Thanks for looking

Hello, This a neat bottle. Congratulations on finding it. This is the first time I have seen a glass stopper with a dripping stick as part of the stopper. Sorry I haven't been able to find any identity for it, but is the place to bring it to!

Hi I thought it was a perfume, also. Does it have a pontil mark on the bottom? I know my wife would be interested if your selling it.

Thanks everyone..It may be a perfume bottle? I was thinking Scent because of the dobber but I have been wrong before. And Red it is for sale and would rather trade for Michigan Beers or Sodas you may have!

Hey all
Perfume ,Scent kind the same thing aren't they ones just more concentrated than the other right . I'm by no mean an expert but I would call that a perfume because of the dabber , dobber .From what I understand perfume would have been dabbed because it would have cost more because it would have had more of the costly oils which create the scents . Toilet water later became cologne I believe to . I could be completely wrong though just seams thats the way it was explained to me . As always good luck diggen and finding to you all . Heres a set of early perfumes with dabbers and enamel painted flowers

I'm by no means an expert, but I would have to agree with the majority - perfume of some sort. Whatever it is, it cool!
