Also, if anybody has any bottles to go with the box, let me know, I'm certainly interested....but more importantly i am looking for info on the company....I heard it became Kraft?? I'm not sure if that's true.
Your milkbox is quite cool, have seen them before, but not common. The woodies are early, up to WWII, after the War they went to sheet metal.
Sheffield bottles are very, very common, I just dumped a bunch into my recycle can last week. You should have no trouble getting some. Antique shop here in Sayville has some, do not know what they are asking. If I get more will save them for you.
Thanks for looking out for them for me...I may pick up a few off of ebay as well.
Of course, I'm looking out for Sayville bottles for you, but my bottle collection is rather small, as I'm just starting out. I will let you know if I come across any. I started out simply looking for One Oak Dairy bottles, but now I've kinda caught the bottle collecting bug []
Currently the box is being used as a garbage can (for papers only-with a bag in it of course). Once I get bottles I will place them around it []. Either way, not a bad buy for $7.
