HI all;

This bottle has Slough, ellimans royal

embrocation for horses , the lid has a flat top

but might be broken. does anyone no how old or how many around.

Hello Irish. I found a bottle like what I believe you are talking about. Go to this site on the web http://www.bottles.freeserve.co.uk/quack-cures.htm and then look under the veterinary section. They say that the bottle is from 1915 and its worth about $38 in US currency. Hope this helps. Have a nice one.

Another Irish [] .
Ellimans embrocation was a liniment type stuff, it was very good too apparently so good they started packaging it in small bottles for use on people too [] .
They are found all over Australia (everywhere that I've dug anyhow) but I still like to find them.
It comes in at least three different variations, probably a lot more.

There is one in our local museum nearly the same

but the lid is a little different thay both look like

thay have broken tops.
