I dug this bottle about five years ago. It is approximately 4 inches in height, has a raised pattern of bumps and diamonds framing the front and back, with unusual indented side panels, and an interesting shoulder style. I was told a few years ago that it was a European perfume bottle but I haven't seen another example to confirm that information. Does anyone here know what this bottle contained or approximately when it was sold?

My guess would be a perfume or colgne, maybe French, although the rasied bumbs could mean its a poison.

Hello, relicsnstuff. It perhaps is simply a French cologne/perfume bottle though I too wonder about the bump/diamond pattern. I'd be curious to know who the maker was, what it was used for, and when it was sold.

I forgot to mention that AC 1456 is embossed on the base as shown in image 4 linked above.

Hi, cyberdigger. I guess I'll keep it with my cologne bottles until I learn otherwise. It's certainly a nice design.

Looks like a cologne to me. There's so many different ones and they all look similar in that they are more fancy than other bottles. Poisons aren't very fancy for the most part.
