From my own experience, you can find marbles and pottery on the beach if you do a lot of beachcombing. I'm not sure about SC, though. I don't know the area or how you could locate the dump. If you are interested in little knick knacks, like the marbles, though, you could look up where there are shipwrecks off the beach there. Then, you might find some things.
