Got a permission and probed out 2 pits on it. Started digging and found out the pontil pit was already dug[] but as is seemingly often the case. The 1880s age pit wasn't dug. So one outta 2 aint bad. [:D] We got some good stuff. My favorite is the bean pot, its whole with only 2 little glaze chips on the rim. The real crier was the blob. Its super rare, wish it had been whole. I did get enough pieces for a glue together though, so until I dig a whole one. I at least have an example. Was surprised to find the larkins and the top! Although I doubting the top is for that bottle, doesn't seem to fit all that well.

Last, what exactly was this ? I thought it might be a flower pot dish but I have never seen one glazed before. There are no markings on the bottom.

The REAL heartbreaker, for me, would have been pulling that ladies leg out and seeing that it's NOT embossed Schroder's Bitters!!! LOL Still a nice dig.
