Dear Bottlefriends, I am a complete novice in the world of bottles but I beleive I happened to have collected unusual bottles. I was told the one is a star poison and the other a Gilbertson wedge (4 oz). Can anybody help me with more info and approx value of these. Also would ebay be the best place for selling these? thanks in advance Arabants

Both the star and the Gilbertsons bottles are good finds. The star I'm not so sure about value: probably $100+. The Gilbertsons is way up there in terms of value and rarity.

For selling, eBay would be good but you'd have to make sure they are well listed and that the photos are very clear. Otherwise try BBR magazine at Elsecar in South Yorkshire (http://www.onlinebbr.com/home/) or ABC magazine, who can be contacted via their website at http://www.abc-ukmag.co.uk/. Both run advertisements sections, and also sell bottles on behalf of collectors. BBR also runs auctions.
