Started a privy today,lots of goodies on top of the first cap*

We started a pit today where the guy walked up last time we were there,and said he (dug all the pits) on this lot 7 years ago.He said "ohhh nooo these houses are 1890s the bottles were barely bimmil, there are only 2 privys on the lot".
That guy is tripin! I guess he didn't do his home work,because these homes are 1870.Never listen to a rival privy digger,he may not know what the hell-o he is talking about []
It took us a while to knock out a huge clay cap,but we found a bunch of decent stuff on top of the cap in an ash layer only three feet down.The bottom (should) have stuff, but who knows.Tomorrow we will go down

Hey Rick Looks like you should have some good age on the bottom. About the cuticura system bottle. No great lose they are pretty common we just dug 1 a couple weeks ago. We've dug them pretty often. Good luck with the rest of the pit.

That's the first time we ever came across one,then again we never dug a Dr K Swamp Root until we hit that cache in that tavern pit.I guess it depends on what they liked that didn't work[8D]
