Hey guys I think I asked for your help on this one a while ago. I’m really looking for any info on it along with value I have three of them only two of which are in good condition the other one had its blob piece cracked off but I have that piece and I think a bit of resin will make it look nice again!

the front is embossed Andrea Donato 1305 Tasker street Philadelphia pa”

the back has a little Cesar looking guy on it. There are no markings on the bottom. If anybody can help me with this I cannot tell you how much I would appreciate it because I’ve asked numerous people on different websites and I have gotten absolutely zero back on it. Usually I at least get a hint but I guess nobody knows LOL if you could at least tell me where to start I would even except that thank you guys for all the help you’ve done thus far I really appreciate it!

Andrea Donato was a liquor dealer in Philadelphia from around 1912-1918 or so. I can't find where he was at this exact address; most of the time he was at 1712 S. 10th St. Nonetheless, the bottle was likely a beer bottle.

I like that Greek bust embossing! That really sets it apart from the standard Philly blob tops.

Agree that it’s a beer. I have one with the same script style and have found several other broken ones. My bottle is amber and from new Haven ct. I’m not home to dig it out but was embossed with steam beer along with the name of the brewery. It occurs to me that the manufacturer is the same for both

thank you! Finally some answers! I can’t seem to find this one anywhere! What do you say this is a rare or common bottle or somewhere in between? Like, is it anything somewhat special or not really?

Yes I love it! To me there was always something special about it but I couldn’t put my finger on it maybe that’s what it is does that make it special at all?

I tried a search for the company in NEWSPAPERS.com and it came up empty. So they did not run ads in the Philly newspapers.
