John and I only had a couple of hours so we decided to hit a few 4x4 boxes. Someone (It was you Phil wasn't it!) hit the one I marked a few weeks ago but forgot or ran out of time for the one next to it. There's might have been good from the scraps.
Probed right out and crunchy! Like eaten Captain Crunch.
First one was pretty much 4 feet of glass, second was hard packed coal ash with some trashy common crowns and a few pipes and luckily the third was right next to the second so we broke through the wall and saw nothing but clay and brick at the bottom so that saved us a couple of worthless hours.
Here's a couple of shots.

Most of the first hole was packed so tight that you could only dig with your hand or kick stuff up. This house was a big time whiskey drinking house. No pints here, just 5th. One nice three piece mold, others were newer.

Here's everything that was not broken. Lots of common stuff, out of town meds, slicks etc. Got a couple of nice beers, green master ink, child's cup with a nice girl's portrait transfer, marbles, dolls heads etc.

here's the small, few marbles. Pipes marked Home Rule, BPF, Prince Gouda, busted sample whiskey crock.

Probably said "Compliments" of C. C. HEISS, 515 Albemarle St. Baltimore, MD. Census shows a John C. C. Heiss running a restaurant/bartender from 1880-1910

John's primarily an ink guy and me a beer so we decided to sell off all the rest. This turned out to be an early blown rare milk
