I was wondering how necessary it is to use different tubes and different stopples when switching from cutting oxides and polishing oxides. I use different copper but I use the same stopples and tubes. Will it make a difference in how clear the polished bottle comes out or not. I am planning on buying some more tubes and stopples at an upcoming bottle show just for polishing purposes but I was wondering if this was necessary.

I haven't noticed any difference, so long as you clean them (scrub them) well after each use.
I have tumbled a lot of bottles using this method.

6 plus years and i never wash my tubes, just rinse them good. I also just rinse my copper good to, I never worry about what remains.
when i first started i worried about everything and learned alot.
