Dave and I went back to that dump Paul and I found today. I thought maybe I could find another dumping area but no luck.We picked around the walls and the back to see if there were any missed. One bottle popped out. "For the toilet" thats it.

Then I thought I saw an ink in a hole! I stuck my long dig tool in and slid it out sideways towards me. I jumped when it came out it was a dam toad. When you think you got an ink and it moves, you jump[:D]

I decided to go down the bank and see if there might be any bottles that rolled down and got covered. I started to lift rocks. This guy popped out,at first i thought it was a copperhead they look similar but have slight yellow tails. This was a corn snake sometimes called milk snakes.Dave thought it was going to kill me lol

I've dug up a couple toads buried several feet below the surface in the middle of refuse layers. For the life of me I couldn't figure out how they got there, how long they were hibernating, or how they would get out again. Brings to mind the unsubstantiated stories of miners deep underground breaking open rocks and having dinosaurs/amphibians pop out from the center of seemingly seamless chunks of stone. Read 1 story from the 1850s describing a pterodactyl coming out, squawking about for a few moments and then dying. Who knows, lol.

"No there was nothing wrong with the goose he was healthy. I know someone will ask that".

True story.
