One dump I go to I come across 3 or 4 of those snakes on every visit. LEON.

Wow , lots of critters to fight off. Those geese up here never allow you to get that close and they normally are seen in flocks , not solo. When the flock are feasting there is always 2-3 with their heads up on the lookout for enemies. They must get more tamer and braver when they fly south...lol..

Rick - I had the same thing happen yesterday with a much larger toad while digging a dump. Was about 2 feet down, turned my head away as I flung a shovel of dirt and as I turned my eyes back to the shaded hole something brown was jumping through the air. Startled me for a second too. Better luck with the bottles next time.
