The Haig Pharmacy Ypsilanti Michigan Bottle

Found this digging recently. Do any of you know of this pharmacy, and have the history of it? I can’t find anything online. I’m assuming it is fairly rare. I believe it is 1890’s to 1905.

This historical society publication suggests the pharmacy only opened under Haig's name in 1918 and before that was called Emery Beal's Drug Store. https://aadl.org/sites/default/files/docfiles/1978-Dec.pdf

However, they were advertising as early as 1916 https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/268102875.pdf

I don't have a subscription to read this but it came up as a Google result so they probably still existed in 1936 https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/97784456/

ohh, I thought maybe that was you. I found some info on it. as early as 1914 & as late as 1942 still in the phone books. In 1929 a M.C. Richards, A Former Employee of Robert B. Haig joined with a Max E. Williams from Ann Arbor took over as new Owners of Haig Pharmacy. located at 224 Michigan Ave if I remember right. YES, We should go digging some Time, I know of Lots of Places. LEON.

Thanks for the help Leon, I appreciate it. I’m free most weekends to go digging. One spot I found has glass as early as 1870. I think I just have to find a good pocket. The spot is very ashy.
