Great color on the cone ink....That alone would keep me looking! Are there a lot of rock walls like that in your neck of the woods? Looks like quite a few stone houses in that area too.

Yeah Joe in the farm and wooded ares around here they used stone walls as property dividers. looks like they just tossed the bottles and junk on the stone wall back in the day.
Jamie found a lot of whole stuff on top but that dump does not go deep its a surface dumping p ground.

There has to be older dumps in that area. The old mans house was 1860 and there is one just as old down the lane form her house. But now is not the time to find the old one to much over and under growth. Plus the bugs are crazy.

I rarely trade or buy bottles but I traded Jamie a bunch of my bottles for the green ink she found at her dump.
It had a sickness film that wouldn't come out on one side, olive oil works wonders.[:)]

Enjoyed the post Rick. It's great that you and Dave took the time to help a newcomer out. I also have helped a lot of beginning collectors with answers, shared my pitiful collection, and gave them hints on digging, etc. I always direct them to this forum because there is so much information that they can obtain here. How many times did the horse throw you before the victory ride?[:D][:D][:D] The ink is great.

Throw me? I broke that stallion. I broke his back that is[8D].
I should get Renee(dugout) to teach me how to ride. I hear she is a rodeo bull rider[:D]
